The Compliance Officer is responsible for maintaining the AML/CFT Program, leading regulatory interactions, overseeing the filing of Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs), ensuring accurate record-keeping, and adapting compliance policies based on evolving legislation. Audit & Reporting Regulatory Compliance OversightAct as the designated Compliance Officer under Section 56 of the AML/CFT Act 2009Ensure full compliance with New Zealand and international AML/CFT laws and FATF standardsServe as the primary liaison for regulatory bodies and financial intelligence units (FIUs)Prepare and submit statutory reports to regulators, including SARs and PTRsMaintain and administer the local AML/CFT compliance program aligned with ACE's global standardsRegularly update AML/CFT policies and procedures in accordance with changing regulationsConduct compliance gap assessments, audits, and internal reviewsProactively monitor and interpret regulatory updates; advise senior leadership on compliance risksSupport business units in understanding AML/CFT obligations and operationalizing controlsDevelop and deliver training on AML/CFT, anti-bribery, anti-fraud, and financial crime preventionEnsure frontline and operational staff remain updated on compliance procedures and reporting channelsAssist in internal and external AML/CFT audits and remediation plansMaintain accurate, confidential, and audit-ready documentation for all compliance mattersQualifications & Experience:
