Trust International Insurance Company (Cyprus) Ltd is seeking an Actuarial Analyst to join our Actuarial Function within a leading Non-Life insurance company. The successful candidate will contribute to actuarial reserving, Solvency II and IFRS 17 reporting, capital and risk analysis, and other actuarial projects supporting the company’s regulatory and business objectives. The only company to receive such an award in Cyprus.The continuous upholding of the distinction criteria translates into career opportunities for those who seek accelerated advancement and are willing to invest in their future.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in the calculation and analysis of technical provisions and claims reserves under Solvency II and IFRS 17.Support the preparation of actuarial reports, QRTs, and other regulatory submissions.Contribute to claims experience analyses, trend studies, and assumption setting.Assist in capital modelling, stress testing, and risk assessments to support solvency and business planning.Perform data validation, reconciliation, and process automation using Excel, Prophet, or Python.Assist in operational risk assessments, identifying and quantifying potential risks impacting actuarial processes and financial outcomes.Support communications and data exchange with reinsurers, including preparation of actuarial inputs for reinsurance treaties, recoveries, and claims analysis.Support the Head of Actuarial Function in governance, audit, and internal reporting tasks.Collaborate with the finance, risk, and underwriting teams to ensure consistency and accuracy of actuarial inputs.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.Progress toward actuarial qualification (e.g., FIA, FSA) strongly preferred.At least 2 years of relevant experience in a Non-Life or Composite insurance company.Experience with data analysis tools, including Excel, Prophet, and/or Python.Excellent communication and report-writing skills.Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Preferred Skills And AttributesExperience working in a regulated financial or insurance environment.Familiarity with insurance regulatory frameworks, including Solvency II and IFRS 17.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment.Strong organizational skills and a proactive, solution-driven mindset.Benefits & PerksAttractive remuneration package (depending on qualifications and experience)13th salaryBonus opportunitiesProvident fundMedical care insuranceParticipation in the company’s joint Life Insurance planCoverage of education and vocational training costsPersonal career development plan and support for actuarial exam progress
