Key Responsibilities Of The HR & Payroll CoordinatorOversee and guide the payroll and benefits functions, working closely with the Payroll Specialist and Benefits Specialist to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and complianceMonitor and approve employee pay increases, promotions, and compensation adjustmentsLead employee relations efforts, including coaching managers on corrective actions, reviewing write-ups, and conducting or advising on terminations and exit interviewsEnsure compliance with employment laws, internal policies, and documentation standardsServe as a point of escalation for sensitive employee issues, working to resolve conflicts and maintain a positive work environmentPartner with hiring managers on recruiting efforts by assisting with candidate screening, offer approvals, and onboarding processesSupport recruiting efforts by reviewing resumes, coordinating interviews, and assisting with offer approvalsSupport performance management initiatives, including annual reviews, disciplinary procedures, and improvement plansAssist in developing and refining HR policies and procedures to support company goals and complianceMaintain and audit employee records in the HRIS system to ensure accuracy and completenessCollaborate with the leadership on strategic initiatives and cross-departmental projectsParticipate in special projects as assignedQualifications Of The HR & Payroll CoordinatorMinimum of 3 years of progressive HR experience, with exposure to payroll, benefits, and employee relationsBachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is REQUIREDExperience with multifamily property management preferredPrior experience in a lead or supervisory HR role strongly preferredStrong working knowledge of employment law, compensation practices, and HR processesExcellent interpersonal and conflict-resolution skillsHighly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-throughExperience working with HRIS systems (e.
