Chief Financial Officer

Adecco is recruiting, on behalf of one of its clients – an international company in the construction industry – a Chief Financial Officer. ResponsibilitiesFinancial Management and Business Partnership*Contributes to the strategic direction of the business together with the management team and develops and implements financial strategies aligned with strategic plans. *Demonstrates a sound understanding of the business, providing relevant performance indicators. Implements management tools that foster a business partnership culture across the organization. *Ensures the implementation of necessary controls to protect company assets, anticipating and minimizing financial and operational risks. *Understands the implications of cross-functional processes and supports their optimization.

Financial Control and Plant Control*Responsible for implementing the OPCO strategy by monitoring performance through KPIs, from weekly reports to quarterly dashboards. *Coordinates OPCO’s forecasting and budgeting cycle. *Provides accurate and timely financial analyses focused on: -Pricing, product and customer mix, gross margin development – in partnership with the Sales Director to support sound commercial decisions. -Plant performance – in collaboration with the Plant Manager to identify improvement opportunities and plan CAPEX. -Cost control – by identifying cost drivers, enforcing budget compliance, and initiating continuous optimization actions. -Developing countermeasure plans when necessary.

-Prepares monthly and quarterly financial results, explaining variances from the plan. Finance and Accounting*Ensures the complete integrity of all financial processes, whether managed internally or outsourced (Global Business Services – RGBS, Group Tax, or selected partners). *Coordinates process optimization initiatives together with the Financial Group and RGBS. *Ensures compliance with IFRS standards, tax obligations, and legal requirements (also assumes the role of Legal Director). *aintains company compliance with the internal control framework and regulatory requirements. *Collaborates with the Financial Group to ensure robust systems and financial reporting tools. *Participates in negotiating payment terms with customers and suppliers.

Customer Risk Management*Defines the credit management policy in line with Group guidelines and collaborates with the sales department to minimize non-payment risk. *Oversees receivables collection and manages overdue payments with the support of RGBS resources. Management and Leadership*Builds credibility and strong relationships with internal stakeholders. *Oversees legal and insurance matters together with the Group Legal Department. *Develops the Finance and Legal teams, preparing a succession plan to ensure business continuity.
