Job Description

Role OverviewLead the R&D department, including New Product Development (NPD) and Quality Assurance (QA) - Paper, film industry Report directly to Managing Director. Drive research priorities, oversee the R&D team, and ensure projects move from concept to commercialization. Actively engage in hands-on product development and problem-solving. Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams. Key Responsibilities1. New Product Development & LaunchLead new product development efforts. Align R&D with business objectives. Support market launch with technical marketing and customer engagement. Coordinate with Operations on production scale-up and QA. 2.

R&D Leadership & Team ManagementSet research priorities and manage lab resources. Ensure technical excellence and timely project delivery. Develop R&D talent and foster a high-performance culture. Lead cross-functional collaboration across departments. 3. External CollaborationBuild partnerships with academic, industry, and research institutions. Engage in joint R&D initiatives with external companies. 4. Market & Industry InsightStay updated on technological trends in paper, film, and chemical industries. Attend industry events to integrate innovations into R&D strategy. Qualifications7+ years of R&D leadership experience, ideally in paper/film coating industries. Strong background in product innovation and business development.

Proven track record in leading product development and commercialization. Deep knowledge of chemistry and chemical compatibility/formulation. Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills. Experience managing cross-functional and external partnerships. Master’s degree or higher in chemistry, chemical engineering, materials science, or similar (preferred). Business English⭐ Preferred QualificationsExperience in new business development and project management. History of developing products using paper or film media. Exposure to global business environments.
