USNH Employees should apply within Workday through the Jobs Hub appThe Head Coach will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the camp, from designing and implementing practice plans to developing athletes’ skills in a fun and engaging environment.Duties/ResponsibilitiesCoaching and Skill Development (80%):Lead and instruct players in the fundamentals of volleyball, including passing, setting, serving, attacking, blocking, and defense.Provide individual and group coaching to ensure player development and improvement.Practice Plans and Drills (10%):Create and implement structured, age-appropriate practice plans focused on skill development, teamwork, and game strategies.Incorporate a variety of drills that emphasize technical skills, physical conditioning, and volleyball IQ.Player Evaluation and Feedback (10%):Assess each camper’s individual progress throughout the camp.Provide constructive feedback to campers and parents regarding strengths, areas for improvement, and future development.Adapt coaching techniques to meet the diverse needs of each camper.Minimum QualificationsMinimum Acceptable Education & Experience:This position will be open to individuals who have experience coaching at elite levels for volleyballThe University of New Hampshire is committed to providing a safe environment for all persons, including but not limited to children, and to prevent and respond to abuse, neglect and crimes against children.
