Adjunct Instructor - Calculus I

The School of Business at ADA University invites applications for the position of Adjunct Instructor in Calculus I within the BBA, BSE, and BSF programs for the Spring 2026 semester.We seek a dynamic and dedicated instructor with a passion for teaching and a commitment to engaging students in an international academic environment.Course DescriptionThis course aims to teach the concepts, methods and applications of the single variable differential and integral calculus. Considering that audience of the class are mostly Economics, Business, and Finance students, applications of Calculus to Economics and Finance will be emphasized throughout the course.ResponsibilitiesDeliver high-quality instruction aligned with course objectives and learning outcomes.Demonstrate expertise in the fundamental concepts of calculus and their applications in business and economics.Encourage analytical and critical thinking in students.Mentor and support undergraduate students in their academic development.Meet all scheduled classes and fulfill all academic responsibilities as outlined in the syllabus.Hold regular office hours and provide timely, constructive feedback.QualificationsA Ph.D. or Master’s degree in Mathematics or a closely related field from an accredited institution.Demonstrated experience in teaching calculus or related quantitative courses, preferably at the university level.At least one year of teaching experience in higher education.Proficiency in English (spoken and written).A strong commitment to teaching excellence and student success.Application InstructionsInterested Candidates Should Submit The Following Documents Via EmailA letter of interest highlighting qualifications and availability.A current curriculum vitae (CV).Please email your application materials to sbrecruitment@ada.edu.az with the subject line: Adjunct Instructor – Calculus I.
