South West Hospital and Health Service has an exciting opportunity for Administration Officers to join our team in Quilpie, Western Qld on a casual basis.Please note applicant must be located in Quilpie to perform this role. Your opportunityThe Administration Officer, Quilpie Western Qld, is responsible for providing high standard administrative support and performing a range of administrative duties that contribute to the efficient and effective operations of the Quilpie MPHS.This position provides a high level of customer service, demonstrating understanding, empathy, patience and a positive attitude. Administration Officers provide an efficient administration service for patients, staff and clinicians within our facility while completing the required tasks in their respective roles.As this role is located in a Hospital Based Ambulance site, you will be required to:Provide pre-hospital emergency first response duties to community (outside of clinic environment).Participate in the on-call roster to provide 24hr pre-hospital emergency first response using the hospital-based ambulance or first-response vehicle.Complete all the core and role mandatory training requirements as per SWHHS Mandatory Training Matrix within the required timeframes.This position may require operation of a patient retrieval vehicle (4WD) which requires a ‘C'-Class Manual Drivers Licence. An appropriate licence endorsement to operate this type of vehicle is required. Proof of this endorsement must be provided before commencement of duty and be updated as licence expires.Quilpie Multi-Purpose Health Service is a 14 bed facility located approximately 950kms West of Brisbane servicing a population of 654 people.
