We’re looking for a proactive Administrative Assistant who thrives on organization, problem-solving, and keeping things running smoothly with the added bonus of light bookkeeping experience to help manage our day-to-day financial operations.What You’ll DoManage daily administrative operations scheduling, coordination, and general workflow support.Support the CEO and leadership team with calendar management, meeting preparation, and follow-ups.Organize and maintain company records, files, and documents across departments.Handle bookkeeping tasks including invoice processing, expense tracking, reconciliations, and reporting.Prepare and categorize transactions for the accounting team and support month-end reporting.Manage vendor and contractor relationships, payments, and general correspondence.Assist HR operations screening resumes, onboarding new hires, maintaining employee records, and coordinating internal communications.Support internal and investor reporting preparing decks, summaries, and documentation for meetings.Identify and implement process improvements to enhance team efficiency and workflow.What You Bring2–4 years of administrative or executive support experience, ideally in a startup or small business.Basic bookkeeping experience - you’re comfortable handling receipts, expenses, and vendor payments.Strong organizational, multitasking, and communication skills - able to manage priorities under pressure.Proficiency with Google Workspace, Slack, and project management tools like Notion, Asana, or ClickUp.Familiarity with QuickBooks, Xero, or Wave is an asset.High attention to detail, discretion, and professionalism when handling confidential information.A self-starter attitude - you take initiative, anticipate needs, and solve problems before they escalate.Why You’ll Love It HereBe part of a mission-driven company helping small businesses gain financial clarity and confidence.Work directly with a collaborative, passionate leadership team in a fast-paced, high-impact environment.Fully remote with flexible hours and real opportunities for growth.This role can evolve into Operations Coordinator or Chief of Staff as the company scales.How to ApplySend your resume and a short cover letter to hello@huumans.com with the subject line:Administrative Assistant – HuumansIn your cover letter, please include:Why are you excited about joining Huumans.What makes you an exceptional multitasker and problem solver.An example of how you’ve helped improve organization or efficiency in a past role.
