PGEU has 33 national delegations made up of 40 member associations. Through its Member Associations, PGEU represents more than 500,000 community pharmacists and 200,000 pharmacies across the European Region. Learn more at pgeu.eu.Role summaryPGEU is seeking a highly organised and proactive Administrative & Policy Assistant to keep our Brussels office running smoothly while supporting our EU policy and communications work. This is a fixed-term position from November 2025 until June 2026.Key responsibilities1) Administration & Office ManagementSupport the Secretary General and team with day-to-day organisational activities.Manage office administration including finance, HR and basic IT support.Coordinate logistics for meetings, conferences and events (online and on-site).Coordinate with external partners and service providers.Handle correspondence and enquiries.Facilitate internal communication with Member Associations.2) Policy & Advocacy SupportMonitor EU health policy files and institutional developments relevant to community pharmacy.Draft briefings and policy documents.Assist with working groups, member surveys, consultations and research project.Support preparation of advocacy materials and presentations for meetings with EU institutions and stakeholders.3) CommunicationsManage and update website, extranet and event-platform content.Support press and media monitoring; prepare basic visuals/documents (e.g., in Canva).Ensure brand and message consistency across channels.QualificationsProven experience as an administrative or policy assistant or similar role (ideally in an international/multi-cultural environment).Fluency in English and French (spoken and written)Strong organisational, multitasking and time-management skills with high attention to detail.Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); familiarity with WordPress/Canva is a plus.Interest in the healthcare sector and preferably basic knowledge of EU institutions.Ability to work independently and as part of a small team; problem-solving mindset; tactful and diplomatic.Valid work authorisation for Belgium at the time of application.What we offerCompetitive salary and benefits package.Flexible working hours with a focus on work-life balance.A positive working atmosphere in an international and dynamic environment.The opportunity to contribute to meaningful work in European healthcare.
