As a key member of the Advancement team, the Admissions Coordinator supports the Admissions Manager in managing the admissions process to reach enrollment targets, enhance the family experience, and uphold ISB’s mission and values.Key ResponsibilitiesThe Admissions Coordinator is responsible for:Enrollment Management: Manage the entire admissions process, including handling inquiries, conducting campus tours, coordinating application workflows, and guiding families from initial contact to enrollment.Working closely with the Admissions Manager to reach agreed enrolment targets set by the Director of Advancement, with a commitment to continuous improvement and increase in conversion rate.Family Experience Excellence: Collaborating closely with the Admissions Manager to create a smooth, efficient, and welcoming admissions journey that reflects ISB's standards of service and care.Admissions Process Enhancement: Working with the Admissions Manager to regularly review and refine admissions procedures, identifying areas for improvement to optimize the admissions experience.Data Management and Reporting: Using the OpenApply / Odoo system to maintain accurate records, analyze admissions data, and prepare reports that support informed decisions by the Admissions Manager.Relationship Building: Contributing to initiatives that enhance the experience for prospective families and strengthen ISB’s community engagementProject Coordination: Manage the planning and execution of recruitment events, ISB Open Days, and other admissions-related programs to promote ISB’s offerings and attract prospective families.Collaborative Communication: Working alongside the Admissions Manager and Communications team to ensure prospective families receive timely, relevant information that supports lead generation and enrollment goals. Liaising with Heads of School and other stakeholders, and supporting families through to their first days of school.Skills And CompetencesThe successful candidate will need:Mindset and approach: Proactive follow up and respect of timelines set by the Admissions Manager, with enrollment focus.Admissions Experience: Prior experience in school admissions or customer service/sales/business development, ideally within an international school or multicultural environment. Preferred but not a must.Data literacy and attention to Detail: Proficiency with admissions databases preferred, with the ability to support enrollment tracking and reporting. Maintaining accurate applicant records and documentation.Communications Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities for engaging diverse stakeholders and ensuring prospective families feel supported. Communicating professionally with staff, students, and external partners. Warm welcoming attitude with compassionate touch and ability to build trust.Organizational Skills: Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple responsibilities effectively to maintain a high standard of customer service.Ability to prioritize tasks during high-volume admissions seasons.Adaptability and Cultural Awareness: Comfortable working in a dynamic, multicultural setting with sensitivity to diverse family needs.Languages: Fluency in English (written and spoken) is essential, with conversational proficiency in French preferred.Role: Junior/Mid-level (up to 5 years work experience), with opportunities for future growth.We offer The opportunity to work in a dynamic, challenging, motivating and multicultural learning environment and to work with a highly professional staff.
