Our graduates go on to top universities worldwide, and these results are the natural outcome of a culture built on care, curiosity, and collaboration.Role DescriptionThe Admissions Co-ordinator is responsible for delivering a world-class admissions journey, ensuring every prospective family feels welcomed, understood and expertly guided from first enquiry through to their child’s first day. The role blends exceptional client care with confident organisation and clear communication, creating a smooth, memorable and reassuring experience for families joining the British School of Brussels.Key ResponsibilitiesAct as the primary point of contact for prospective families, offering clear information, thoughtful guidance and a consistently high standard of service.Ensure every stage of the admissions journey feels seamless, personalised and responsive, with particular attention to the needs of both the child and their family.Gather information on applicants through conversations, visits and admissions events, and make informed recommendations to the Head of Admissions.Maintain timely, accurate and friendly communication, keeping families well-informed and supported throughout the process.Coordinate admissions events so they run smoothly, reflect BSB’s values and leave families with a strong, positive impression.Arrange admissions assessments or interviews, liaising with relevant staff and adjusting where needed to support individual applicants.Work closely with academic, pastoral and administrative teams to ensure a well-planned transition for each new pupil.Prepare welcome materials, onboarding information and key documentation to help families feel confident and prepared.Maintain accurate records in the admissions database and provide regular updates and insights to the Head of Admissions.Support outreach with feeder institutions and contribute to developing positive relationships that strengthen the admissions pipeline.Skills and AttributesDeeply client-focused, with a warm and empathetic approach to understanding family expectations and supporting children at key educational transition points.First language or C2-level English proficiency, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.Enjoys working with people from varied cultural backgrounds and thrives in an international environment.Knowledge of international schools and curricula, or the enthusiasm to develop this quickly.Highly organised, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple enquiries and tasks efficiently.Confident in using office software and admissions or student-management databases.Able to work both independently and collaboratively, contributing positively to a busy school team.Discreet, reliable and committed to safeguarding and data protection.The Person:Commitment to the BSB Guiding StatementsCommitted to achieving the best at all times for BSB studentsBelief that in learning and in life more is achieved together than aloneCommitted to the safety and wellbeing of BSB students.In return, we offer:A full-time, permanent contract with generous holiday provisionOn the job trainingInteresting position in an international environmentAn attractive salary – BSB Operational scale – Band 4 representing a minimum of € 55.326 and a maximum of € 86.470 gross per year, depending on the years of relevant experienceInteresting extra-legal benefits including hospitalisation insurance, extra pension payments, luncheon vouchers, free use of the BSB sport facilitiesApplication process:The deadline for applications is Thursday 11 December 2025 at 16:00 (CET).Please note that only applications sent in using the application form on the BSB website will be considered.
