You won't spend your days confined to a desk drafting template emails or buried in administrative tasks. You'll conduct meaningful family tours, establish trust with prospective parents, and lead them through a smooth, individualized admissions process. Simultaneously, you'll maintain a campus that is safe, compliant, and consistently prepared to receive students and families with assurance.Alpha is a K–12 private school that transforms how children learn. In this role, you'll be the frontline representative of that mission, bringing it to life for every family who visits our campus.If you're prepared to advance quickly while contributing to work that matters, we'd like to hear from you.What You Will Be DoingConducting personalized, effective family tours that communicate Alpha's three commitments and build confidence in our educational model.Executing and managing proactive outreach strategies with prospective families to advance them through the admissions process.Implementing strict safety and safeguarding protocols to maintain a visibly secure environment for families and students.Managing all facilities operations, including preventative maintenance, vendor coordination, and repair management.Regularly analyzing data to optimize processes and enhance both operational performance and enrollment results.What You Won’t Be DoingBeing limited to a single, repetitive administrative function or isolated department.Operating under rigid, top-down micromanagement that limits your autonomy.Dealing with bureaucratic obstacles that hinder meaningful progress.Concentrating solely on paperwork, removed from the families and students you support.Admissions Counselor Key ResponsibilitiesExecute and own a seamless, high-impact admissions experience while ensuring a safe, well-functioning campus environment, allowing Alpha to expand and fulfill its commitments to families.Basic RequirementsProven experience in school admissions, engagement, or customer-facing roles.Strong written and verbal communication skills.High emotional intelligence, initiative, and self-management.Familiarity with or willingness to learn school operations.Must be legally authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship.Must be available to work in person in Palm Beach, FL; Miami, FL; Piedmont, CA; Santa Monica, CA; Palo Alto, CA; Roswell, GA or Raleigh, NC.About AlphaWant to join a learning rebellion that’s transforming the traditional classroom? The position is immediately available and requires entering into an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as a Contractor of Record. The compensation level for this role is $37 USD/hour, which equates to $75,000 USD/year assuming 40 hours per week and 50 weeks per year. The payment period is weekly.
