Job Description

NIT is looking for a dedicated Admissions Officer / Admissions Advisor / Admissions Counselor with deep experience in student counseling, admissions, and guiding high school/ A-level students. The role is focused on driving enrollment, supporting prospective students, and partnering with prominent schools.Key ResponsibilitiesManage end-to-end admissions process: inquiries, application review, documentation, follow-ups, offers, and enrolments.Provide student counseling and guidance to prospective students and parents, especially for A-levels, higher secondary, and high schools.Travel or liaise with prominent schools, educational fairs, and feeders to represent NIT, deliver presentations, and build pipelines.Engage prospective students through outreach campaigns, webinars, info sessions, and school visits.Work closely with marketing and digital teams to convert leads into applications and enrolments.Maintain detailed records, reports, and metrics (conversion rates, leads, yields).Act as a liaison between applicants, academic departments, and internal stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure a smooth applicant experience.Provide after-admission support where needed (orientation, transition).RequirementsBachelor’s degree from an HEC recognized university.3–6 years’ experience in admissions, student counseling, preferably in universities or top schools.Strong knowledge of A-level curricula, school systems, and student expectations.Proven communication, persuasion, interpersonal, and presentation skills.Ability to travel, engage with schools, and represent the institution externally.Organized, target-oriented, and data-driven mindset.
