Industrial Automation & Control Systems (IACS)?For our Honeywell Process Solution (HPS) organization at Asker just outside of Oslo we are currently looking for an Advanced Field Service Engineer who will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and configuring Honeywell Industrial Automation & Control- and SCADA systems in the energy, chemical, and manufacturing markets. In future candidate is expected to become a lead in projects and for sites in Norway in the Grenland region where our main clients are based.What’s in it for you?Working for a well-known brand with a continued focus on innovation and growthBe a part of building a bigger team of Field Service Engineers in Norway to support our customersMarket specific training, ongoing personal development, and coachingCompany car, competitive salary and sales leads bonus.ResponsibilitiesYour role:Actively participate in installation / configuration / implementation & commissioning of Honeywell’s product range including Industrial Safety & Automation System (SAS), HMI and SCADARepresent Honeywell in all customer interactions according to Honeywell valuesFollow and observe all Honeywell and customer safety regulations and requirementsUnderstand project life cycle from specifications to deliveryImplement system upgrades or modifications, on process/off process. Implement online system changes to live plant without compromising process safety and operationBe a part of the team that helps customers with the digitalization of their facilitiesDedicatedly seek to establish opportunities for the advancement of product applications to improve the customer processDiagnose, rectify, and manage issues in complex application softwarePreferably based in the Grenland Area (Porsgrunn/Skien) as most work will be conducted towards our customers in this area. Sporadic other domestic and abroad travels must be expected. Customers mainly based Østlandet and VestlandetQualificationsYour profile:Minimum Bachelor’s degree in electronics, automation, cybernetics, master’s degree will be an advantage. Preferably Master’s degree within the sameMinimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role - Control & Safety systems and SCADA within different process industries (Energy / chemicals / etc.)English fluentNorwegian fluentExcellent interpersonal skillsExcellent customer handling skillsStrong ability to multi-task and prioritize workAmbitious and capable to work both in teams but also independentlyWorking with Oil&Gas is no hinder, and open for sporadic offshore travelsAbout UsHoneywell helps organizations solve the world's most complex challenges in automation, the future of aviation and energy transition.
