Project Director

Title: Project DirectorLocation: Romania (Remote)Salary: Up to €130,000 plus bonus and packageI am excited to be working with a small but well funded and close-knit Canadian CRO in seeking an experienced Project Director who is responsible for oversight program of clinical studies or large global multicentred trials. Company: My client are a full-service global CRO focusing on the therapeutic areas of Dermatology and Rheumatology. The founder of the business is a Medical Dermatologist and therefore is very passionate about such therapy areas.

With expansion in North America, Europe, Asia Pacific and Latin America; vast, continuously growing relationships with investigators and patients; and a dedicated research clinic through which we design and execute their studiesRole: As a full-scope Global Project Director, you will be managing Project Managers (PMs) who are managing complex projects of all sizes as well as multiple protocol projects, global projects and/or portfolio of projects. You will leads the operations t and business development activities at a project director level with minimal oversight. Responsibilities include:

Provide oversight to a portfolio of clinical studies and supervise Project Managers handling programs from single-service to multi‑protocol global trials. Monitor budget, contract, and financial oversight including forecasting, expense review, and reporting. Maintain therapeutic or client‑specific expertise and apply learnings across the project portfolio. Contribute operational input to proposal development, pricing strategies, and participate in bid defense meetings. Experience: At least 15 years industry experience and a minimum of 5 years at a CROAt least 10 years of clinical project management experience, including management of all projects phases from start up to closure, management of all functional services, vendor management.

Experience with mid-size and large studies (>10-15 countries) in multiple regions (NA, SA, APAC, MENA, Europe) is desirable. Experience leading concurrent multi-centered, multinational phase III clinical trials including project budget financial tracking and forecastingSubstantial experience in project supervision, mentoring and coaching project managersSubstantial experience with business development tasks, such as development of proposals, client presentations, bid defense meetings, and the likeParticipation in mentoring and coaching of a representative number of project managersDermatology experience is mandatoryInterested?
