From global icons to homegrown favourites, we help our clients grow, compete and thrive in an ever-evolving media landscape.Our team is collaborative, curious and driven, and we’re looking for someone who shares that same energy and ambition to join us.About the RoleWe’re looking for an experienced and detail-driven Traditional Media Planner/Buyer (Implementation Manager) to take ownership of planning and buying campaigns across traditional media channels in Australia and New Zealand.You’ll be responsible for implementing client media strategies across channels including TV, BVOD, Radio, Audio, Print, Out of Home and Cinema, ensuring campaigns are delivered on time, on budget and with excellence. You’ll work closely with internal strategists, digital teams and media partners to deliver integrated plans that connect traditional and digital channels to drive performance.This role suits someone who thrives in collaborative environment and enjoys combining strategic thinking with hands-on implementation.What You’ll Do • Plan and buy across key traditional media channels including TV, BVOD, Radio, Out of Home, Print and Cinema. • Manage campaign implementation from briefing and negotiation through to post-analysis and reporting. • Collaborate with the strategy and digital teams to build integrated media recommendations and plans that deliver measurable business outcomes. • Build strong relationships with media partners and suppliers to unlock opportunities and secure the best value for clients. • Present media recommendations, rationale and results to clients with confidence. • Manage campaign budgets, timelines and deliverables with precision and accountability. • Monitor campaign performance and contribute insights to post-campaign reviews and future planning. • Stay informed of market trends, audience shifts and channel innovations across Australian and New Zealand media.What You’ll Bring • 3-5 years’ experience in media planning and buying, with a strong grounding in traditional media. • Experience working across multiple channels (TV, BVOD, Radio, Out of Home, Print and/or Cinema). • Solid understanding of audience data, media tools and the Australian media landscape (undersatnding of the New Zealand media market is an added bonus) • Proven negotiation and relationship management skills with media owners and partners. • Strong attention to detail, time management and campaign organisation skills. • Confident communicator and presenter with the ability to clearly explain strategy and performance. • A collaborative, proactive approach with the ability to work closely with strategy and client teams. • Experience in digital or integrated media planning is a plus, but not essential.Why Media33 • Join an independent, Melbourne-based agency where your ideas make an impact. • Work across some of Australia’s most dynamic FMCG, Retail and DIY brands. • Hybrid working model (4 office / 1 WFH) and three extra Media33 leave days each year (birthday, mental health ‘circuit breaker’ and volunteer day). • Collaborative, supportive and social team culture. • Ongoing professional development, mentoring and exposure to integrated media planning. • Be part of an agency that values innovation, inclusion and doing great work that matters.
