About The RoleWe are a high-growth direct-response e-commerce company (currently 9-figure annual revenue) looking for an Affiliate Marketing Manager to take full ownership of our affiliate channel.You’ll manage all affiliate relationships — both direct affiliates and affiliate networks like GiddyUp and DFO — while building a best-in-class structure around tracking, performance optimization, and partner management.This is the first dedicated affiliate role in the company — so you’ll set the standard, build the systems, and directly drive performance.Key ResponsibilitiesAffiliate Management & RelationshipsOwn all affiliate partnerships and network relationships (GiddyUp, DFO, and others).Communicate consistently with affiliates — from onboarding new partners to nurturing top performers.Recruit, vet, and onboard new direct affiliates. Handle everything from contract setup to tracking and creative support.Monitor affiliate performance daily: identify top performers, manage underperforming or low-quality affiliates, and remove fraudulent traffic sources.Work with high-performing affiliates to negotiate exclusive deals, higher CPA targets, and better volume arrangements.Coach and assist mid-tier affiliates to help them scale profitably.Data Analysis & OptimizationDeep-dive into affiliate data to identify trends, fraud, and optimization opportunities.Benchmark affiliate funnel performance against our internal traffic metrics and conversion data.Ensure all affiliate funnels are aligned with our top internal controls, creative tests, and CRO wins.Collaborate closely with media buying, creative, analytics, and CRO teams to ensure insights and performance improvements flow both ways.Track all KPIs across affiliates (EPC, CVR, AOV, CPA, ROI) and report regularly with clear insights and action plans.Tracking, Tech & ComplianceOversee affiliate tracking setup, postback integrations, and attribution accuracy (in collaboration with tech and analytics teams).Maintain up-to-date documentation and SOPs for affiliate onboarding, creative approval, and compliance.Ensure all affiliate activity complies with brand guidelines and relevant advertising regulations.Cross-Functional CollaborationPartner with internal growth, CRO, and creative teams to ensure that every internal win (new headline, offer, or creative) gets rolled out to affiliate funnels.Work with product and analytics to surface insights that improve affiliate offer performance.Coordinate with finance for payouts, invoicing, and performance-based bonus tiers.What Success Looks LikeWithin Your First 30–60 Days, You Will HaveFully analyzed current affiliate and network data (GiddyUp, DFO, and direct affiliates).Identified fraud, low-performing affiliates, and optimization opportunities.Benchmarked affiliate metrics against our internal traffic and funnel performance.Worked with top-performing affiliates to secure exclusive deals or higher CPA structures.Rolled out all current internal CRO and creative wins to affiliate funnels.Ensured every affiliate funnel is aligned with our best-performing internal controls.Built structure for onboarding and tracking new direct affiliates — handling communication, setup, and performance management end to end.Within 90 days: you’ve improved communication and structure with top performers, rolled out updated controls and creatives to affiliate funnels, and established SOPs for onboarding and tracking.Within 6 months: affiliate performance is cleaner, more profitable, and aligned with internal traffic ROI; new affiliates are being onboarded and scaling fast; and you’ve negotiated exclusive deals or improved CPA structures with key partners.Ideal Candidate ProfileExperience & Skills4–8 years of hands-on affiliate marketing or performance marketing experience (preferably in direct response or high-volume e-commerce).Proven success managing both affiliate networks (e.g., GiddyUp, DFO, ClickBank) and direct affiliates.Strong data literacy — able to interpret metrics, spot anomalies, and translate insights into action.Excellent relationship-building and negotiation skills.Experience with affiliate tracking tools, attribution, and postback setup.Deep understanding of traffic quality, compliance, and affiliate fraud prevention.Highly organized and proactive — able to build structure from scratch and own the affiliate channel end-to-end.Nice-to-HaveExperience scaling affiliate programs into eight-figure channels.Background in direct-response funnels, VSLs, and conversion optimization.Familiarity with tools like Voluum, Everflow, Cake, or similar tracking systems.Comfortable working cross-functionally with CRO, creative, analytics, and paid media teams.Reporting & Collaboration Reports to: Head of Growth / CMO / VP of MarketingWorks closely with:Growth & Media Buying TeamsCreative & CRO TeamsAnalytics & TechFinance & OperationsCompensationBase Salary: $3,000 – $5,000/month (USD)Performance Bonus: Based on affiliate channel growth, ROI, and profitability targetsWhy Join UsBe the first affiliate hire in a rapidly scaling 9-figure company — huge impact and full ownership.Manage relationships with some of the biggest affiliate networks in the world.Shape the strategy, build the infrastructure, and directly drive performance and profitability.Collaborate with elite marketing, creative, and analytics teams operating at global scale.Competitive base + performance upside, with clear growth path toward Head of Affiliates / Director of Partnerships.
