Job Description

Role DescriptionWorking as a Compliance Administrator, you will support the compliance team with day-to-day regulatory and administrative tasks, assisting the Compliance Manager and wider team to ensure all work is completed to a high standard. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent organisational skills, and a proactive approach to maintaining accurate records and supporting compliance processes in line with regulatory requirements.

ResponsibilitiesReview and assess potential new businessAdvise Business Development on due diligence for potential new businessWork closely with business development team and New Business Committee, providing input on potential new businessMaintain spreadsheets for managing compliance dataAssist with gathering data for MI reports and regulatory returnsAssist in maintaining regulatory registers as required by the Isle of Man FSA, ensuring they are completed and up to dateKeep up to date on regulatory knowledge and requirementAssist with external bodies where needed such as banks, PNB third parties, auditors and IOM FSA etc.

Review, assess and communicate announcements from the regulatory authority such as, sanction updates with HOC and compliance teamAssist with undertaking client risk assessmentsConduct compliance ongoing monitoring, tracking findings through to resolutionConduct PEP Reviews, screening and enhanced due diligence activities If assigned by HOGC:

review, assess and discount any automatic screening flagged on system Inscope AML, assisting with additional open searches where requiredIdentify regulatory and operational compliance issues that may ariseUnderstand and assist with the implementation and update of compliance procedures and policiesReport any findings from compliance reviews to the Compliance Manager and Head of ComplianceProvide advice and guidance to 1LoD on any compliance matters raised, maintaining an open and collaborative relationship which is integral to our businessAssist with training where requiredBe willing and committed to study with the International Compliance Association and undertake required annual CPD
