Join us in advancing our mission to extend lives and expand possibilities.Position OverviewAs the Senior Manager - Agile Delivery & Operation Lead, you are a "hands-on" Scrum Master. You will spend most of your time on the front lines, serving as the Agile Coach (Scrum Master) for our digital product team, leading by example and driving peak performance. Meanwhile, you will operate from a higher vantage point as the strategic core of the scrum team, building a superior delivery system, optimizing development operations, and ensuring the work of digital team is tightly aligned with the company's strategic objectives. Including but not limited to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of products within the Vantive portfolio, ensuring alignment with organizational strategic goals.This unique role requires you to be both a practical "doer" and a strategic "thinker," and a master of cross-functional collaboration.This role requires establishing and maintaining technical project management standards, software development frameworks and performance metrics to ensure digital development projects are completed on time, within budget, and to quality standards. Acting as a central hub for coordination, risk management, and stakeholder communication.Essential Duties And Responsibilities In-Depth Agile Coaching & Team FacilitationHands-On Practice & Facilitation: Act as the primary Scrum Master for our digital product teams (both internal and external) in China. Personally facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-up, Sprint Review, Sprint Retrospective), ensuring they are efficient, focused, and deliver tangible value.Team Performance Optimization: Embed deeply within the teams. Through observation, one-on-one coaching, and workshops, to identify bottlenecks in collaboration/process. Drive concrete improvement measures to increase the team's delivery velocity and quality. Champion agile methodologies and process improvements to enhance project delivery.Process Improvement & Metrics: Monitor team performance metrics (e.g., velocity, burn-down charts) to identify areas for improvement. Implement Agile best practices (e.g., Test-Driven Development, Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Continuous Deployment) to enhance product quality and efficiency. Conduct retrospectives to reflect on processes and implement actionable improvements.Impediment Removal Expert: Proactively and promptly identify and track all impediments blocking team progress. Leverage your influence and problem-solving skills to coordinate cross-functional resources and clear the path for the teams, creating an environment for efficient, focused, and high performance work space.Quality & Sustainability Advocacy: Work closely with digital engineering teams (both internal and external) to advocate for and support strong engineering practices, ensuring we deliver high-quality, maintainable software at a sustainable pace.Cultivating Agile Culture: Act as a servant-leader, shielding the team from external distractions to maintain focus on sprint goals. Coach Product Owner, development team, and other stakeholders on a daily basis to deepen their understanding of agile principles and foster the team's self-organization, self-management, and accountability, such as backlog management, prioritization, and refinement to ensure clear product goals.Knowledge Management & Community Building: Create and maintain a project knowledge repository, curating and sharing best practices. Organize internal community events, acting as an internal agile coach to elevate the agile maturity of the entire R&D organization. Technical Project Excellence & Operational Framework (Software product full life cycle management)Cross-Functional Collaboration: Serve as a key liaison and facilitator between R&D and critical stakeholder teams, including PMO (Project Management Officer), Product Owners (PO), Commercial, Global Digital Team, Quality/Regulatory Affairs (QA/RA), and Legal, including external partners/vendors. Ensure seamless communication, manage dependencies, and align on priorities for strategic initiatives.Software Development Process Governance Standardization & Optimization: Establish and maintain agile project management processes, tooling standards (e.g., Jira/Confluence), and templates to ensure project delivery is visible, transparent, and consistent, while maintaining necessary flexibility. Work with PMO to define and implement governance structures, including decision rights, escalation paths, and reporting cadences. Ensure compliance with Vantive’s product/project lifecycle management (e.g., Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid) and organizational policies.Post market lifecycle software management framework: Establish post market product lifecycle management.EssentialQualifications & RequirementsBachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is preferred.8+ years of experience in a software R&D environment for HealthTech company, with at least 5 years in a dedicated Scrum Master or Agile Coach role, with a proven track record of successfully improving multiple teams' performance.3+ years of experience in project/product management or similar function, responsible for program management, governance, or process improvement.Proven experience in facilitating collaboration across diverse functions.Hold an advanced Scrum Master certification such as SA, CSM, A-CSM, CSP-SM, or PSM II/III, and be proficient in other agile practices like Kanban.Excellent facilitation, coaching, and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to influence and inspire others.Strong business acumen to understand the values of product for customers and end-users.Strong data analysis skills, with the ability to derive insights from data, drive decision-making, and demonstrate value.Experience in marketing, commercial and customer service for medical digital products.Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese, with the confidence to communicate effectively with all levels of management, including executives.PreferredExperience with scaled agile frameworks like SAFe or LeSS; relevant certifications (e.g., SPC) are a plus.Experience working in a MNC HealthTech company or a fast-paced tech startup environment.Hands-on experience with advanced configuration and administration of Jira/Confluence.Technical background sufficient to understand technical challenges and engage deeply with engineers.Personal AttributesHands-On Leader: Enjoys and is accustomed to rolling up their sleeves, diving into teams, and solving problems directly, not just directing.Servant's Heart: Believes that "the team's success is your success" and is dedicated to serving the team's needs above all.Systems Thinker: Able to see systemic issues from individual team pain points and drive organization-wide improvements.Master of Influence: Skilled at driving change through building trust, demonstrating expertise, and effective communication, rather than relying on positional authority.Proactive & Passionate: Driven and energetic, actively seeking improvement opportunities without waiting for instruction.Reasonable AccommodationVantive is committed to working with and providing reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities globally.
