AGM/ Head of Finance & Accounts

A well-reputed group of Manufacturing Companies is looking for AGM/Head of Finance & AccountsWe are seeking an accomplished and driven Head of Finance & Accounts to lead all financial operations and strategies within the organizations. This critical leadership role demands expertise in financial planning, operations, strategic decision-making & bold leadership to ensure financial stability and propel the company toward its growth objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesFinancial Strategy and Planning•     Collaborate in designing, implementing, and improving accounting systems, policies, and procedures, ensuring alignment with contemporary best practices.•     Develop and implement comprehensive financial plans, budgets, and forecasts aligned with business objectives.•     Advise on strategies to optimize profitability, enhance cost efficiency, and maximize company profits.Financial Operations and Reporting•     Oversee daily financial operations, including managing transactions through Tally software, ensuring compliance with documentation, and maintaining accuracy.•     Prepare and present detailed financial reports for the management, supporting strategic decision-making.•     Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements (monthly, quarterly, annually) in compliance with GAAP/IFRS.•     Supervise bank reconciliation processes and ensure timely adjustments to maintain accurate records.•     Analyze departmental workflows to enhance efficiency and resource utilization while maintaining high accuracy.Risk Management and Compliance•     Prepare VAT/Tax submission documents with full accuracy & mitigate any loopholes/mistakes in submission•     Monitor Tax/VAT-related matters, maintain liaison with authorities, and ensure timely compliance with laws and submission of returns.•     Identify, assess, and mitigate financial risks and liquidity issues.•     Formulate risk management strategies by analyzing liabilities and investments, ensuring effective mitigation plans.•     Establish and maintain robust internal control systems to safeguard the integrity of financial data and processes.Banking and Financial Relationships•     Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions to secure funding, optimize interest costs, and oversee loan-related transactions.•     Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of bank account transactions, improving operational transparency.•     Develop investment strategies to optimize cash flow and address liquidity risks while ensuring business continuity.Budgeting and Cost Control•     Prepare Monthly/Quarterly & Annual Budgeting     •     Prepare and monitor budgets, conducting thorough variance analysis and implementing corrective actions to achieve financial targets.•     Analyze operational costs, focusing on areas like raw material procurement and production, and implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.Compliance and Reporting•     Ensure compliance with financial regulations and timely submission of Tax/VAT returns.•     Provide various financial reports and statements tailored to management’s requirements for strategic decision-making.•     Supervise the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports to ensure operational transparency.Strategic and Operational Leadership•     Drive organizational financial planning, guiding key business decisions and aligning them with long-term goals.•     Offer financial leadership across departments, ensuring cohesive execution of financial strategies.Leadership and Team Development•     Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing finance and accounts team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.•     Recruit, train, and develop financial talent to meet organizational goals and sustain operational excellence.RequirementsEducation•     Master's degree specializing in Finance/Accounting or a related discipline with a strong academic record.•     ACA, FCA/FCMA, ACMA, CFA, or similar Professional degree holders will be given preference.Experience•     Over 10 year(s) in Accounts/Finance discipline total & 3-4 year(s) as lead managerial position•     Extensive knowledge & practical working experience in VAT & TAX regulations, laws & submissions•     The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Garments, Textile, Manufacturing Industry etc.Skills•     Advanced financial modeling and forecasting expertise.•     Advanced Excel Capabilities & Proficiency in Financial software tools & ERP software•     Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills.•     Attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.Will be Prioritized•     Highly motivated & result-oriented with strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.•     Passionate about working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.•     Fluent in Speaking & Writing in Bangla & English.•     Strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.•     Meticulous attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.Job LocationNarayanganj
