TerraSweet seeks to shape the future of agriculture through innovation and sustainable practices. Role Description This is a full-time on-site position located in Lisbon. As an Agronomist at TerraSweet International, you will manage crop production processes, monitor soil health, and develop sustainable farming practices. Your responsibilities will include conducting field research, analyzing crop data, advising on pest and irrigation management, and improving cultivation strategies to enhance yield and quality. Collaboration with farming teams and adherence to environmental and safety standards will be critical aspects of the role. You will play a key role in ensuring the sustainable production of high-quality sweet potatoes. Qualifications Strong expertise in crop management, soil health, and sustainable farming practicesProficiency in conducting agricultural research, data analysis, and interpreting research findingsKnowledge of pest management, irrigation techniques, and cultivation strategiesExceptional problem-solving, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively with farming teams and adapt to dynamic agricultural environmentsUnderstanding of environmental regulations and safety standards in agricultureBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agronomy, Agriculture, or a related fieldPrevious experience in large-scale crop production or sustainable farming is preferred
