Job DetailsDescriptionAHF Products has an exciting career opportunity for a Product Manager with strong business acumen to drive growth and support execution of our strategic vision in the Residential flooring segment. Based in Mountville, PA, you will be responsible for driving new product development efforts, analyzing competitor products, and executing operating and project plans to differentiate our products from those of the competition, resulting in top and bottom-line growth.

The position will report directly to the Vice President, Resilient Products. Job DutiesThe Product Manager drives new product development efforts to ensure products are developed on time and within budgetary goals. This includes leading product planning and design efforts to ensure the products are successfully launched and differentiated from our competition.

The position also manages full product life cycle, including conception, definition, development, launch and post-launch activities. Responsibilities include the following:

Working cross-functionally to develop business plans that drive new product development efforts within the AHF Residential portfolio of productsLaunch new products and line extensions that are aligned with strategic and operating plans and objectivesDeveloping product specifications utilizing voice of the customer inputWorking closely with AHF Operations leaders to enhance our capabilities and operational effectiveness while bringing industry leading products to marketPartnering with our sourcing and supply chain teams to enhance our portfolio through strategic external supply capabilitiesWorking with the sales and marketing teams to obtain and analyze competitive and market research to help guide product recommendationsEvaluating requests for product changes and enhancements and making decisions on such requestsWorking with Marketing managers to develop strategies and tactics for the successful marketing of products, including new product launches and re-positioning of current productsEnsuring the establishment of appropriate product pricing, utilizing appropriate market data.

Conducting product training for internal and external customers and business partnersKnowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesExperience in the Residential products category &/or servicing the Residential business segmentExperience with new product development, pricing, and marketingExperience conducting market research and analyzing competitor productsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively function and influence others in a highly matrix organizationStrong financial and business acumenExcellent analytical skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environmentQualificationsConducts himself/herself consistent with our company values of Transparency, Ownership, Unity, Grit and Hustle. Bachelor’s Degree, MBA preferred.

4+ years of Product Management experience within consumer durables or consumer products. Knowledge of flooring products. Experience developing building products for the Residential consumer. Experience leading cross-functional teams through the product development process. Strong financial acumen. Demonstrated capability to gather and utilize market analysis to understand the competitive landscape and drive both company and product line growth strategies.
