Job Description

Livinit is a Bay Area–based, Cornell Tech Startup Award finalist building the visual brain for interior design turning room scans into to-scale, shoppable 3D designs in real time. We’re expanding our Vietnam team to accelerate core AI and computer vision R&D and deployment.Location: Vietnam (Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City preferred)Type: Full-time, Remote (~4 hours with US PT core hours (flexible))Team: Small, high-ownership, cross-functional (AI, 3D, product, iOS)What you’ll doDevelop CV/3D algorithms: Design and build advanced computer vision for real-time object tracking, 3D reconstruction, and image rendering using VLMs, GANs, Diffusion, NeRFs, and 3D Gaussian Splatting.Optimize for real time: Profile and optimize deep learning models for speed, accuracy, and efficiency across diverse hardware (CPU/GPU; mobile/edge), meeting strict latency budgets.Ship features with impact: Create and integrate AI components into our product using modern frameworks; contribute to LLM/AI Agent features, including fine-tuning and RAG pipelines.Own code quality & MLOps: Write clean, maintainable, well-documented Python/C++ code; improve CI/CD, coding standards, testing, experiment tracking, and model deployment practices.Evaluate & harden models: Rigorously test for reliability, robustness, and fairness; uphold privacy/security best practices.Collaborate & mentor: Work closely with iOS, 3D, and product; mentor interns/junior engineers and foster a supportive, high-velocity culture.Minimum qualifications1–3 years of hands-on experience with Python and modern AI/ML frameworks (PyTorch preferred; TensorFlow ok).Solid grasp of machine learning, neural networks, and model training/evaluation pipelines.Understanding of MLOps and deployment (Docker, API design, on-prem/cloud).Practical experience in data preprocessing.Strong problem-solving skills; structured approach to complex, ambiguous problems.Comfortable with Git and collaborative workflows (PRs, code reviews).English proficiency for technical discussions and documentation.Preferred qualificationsExperience with LLMs, RAG architectures, and fine-tuning foundation models.Familiarity with vector databases and embeddings.Background in computer vision, NLP, or generative AI (diffusion, GANs).Exposure to CUDA/TensorRT, OpenCV, TorchScript/ONNX, edge optimization.Bonus: 3D/graphics (e.g., NeRF, 3D Gaussian Splatting), AR/SLAM, ARKit/RoomPlan, or iOS/Swift integration.Startup experience with a small team.Compensation & benefitsSalary: up to USD $3,000 / month (Based on experience).Flexible hours: 07:00–09:00 start, 17:30–20:30 finish (With 4hrs PT overlap)Leave: Minimum 14 paid days per year (post-probation).
