Join us as the AI & Innovation Lead for Commercial & Investment Bank (CIB) Market Operations, where you’ll be at the forefront of driving operational excellence and strategic value across a global organization.As an AI and Innovation Lead within the APAC Digital & Platform Services Change team, you will drive the adoption and integration of advanced AI solutions and innovative technologies across APAC Markets Operations. You will shape the strategic vision for AI-driven transformation, partnering with program leads and operations teams to identify, design, and deliver impactful solutions that enhance operational efficiency and scalability. You will introduce the latest AI models and industry trends, ensuring the firm remains at the forefront of innovation. In this role, you will manage a team of developers, deliver measurable efficiency savings, and represent the firm at external industry events. You will also need to travel regularly to Malaysia and as required within APAC.Job ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with program leads and operations teams to understand common and function-specific problem statements and design technical solutions using innovative tools and AI models.Integrate AI and automation into daily processes, ensuring alignment with the global strategic vision.Research and introduce the latest AI models, trends, and best practices from internal and external sources.Represent the firm at external events, presenting on AI for Operations Strategy and sharing thought leadership.Execute and deliver efficiency savings through successful project implementation, overseeing ROI tracking and ensuring project outcomes meet strategic and financial objectives.Lead a team of developers, providing guidance and ensuring high-quality delivery.Design effective solutions by quickly grasping complex market products, trading, and operational processes.Ensure integration with core technical platforms and compliance with operational roles and responsibilities.Develop and maintain technical solution design documents and investment business cases.Ensure all innovation use cases adhere to regulatory requirements, technology lifecycle development, and governance standards, maintaining a strong control mindset.Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders across Operations, Technology, global partners, and external partners, communicating complex technical solutions effectively to senior audiences.Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And SkillsBachelor’s degree. Minimum 15 years of relevant AI and innovation lead experience, including direct people management and team leadership. Extensive experience in Markets Operations, trading, and operational process design with a proven track record in delivering AI/ML and automation projects within financial services.Advanced Python coding capabilities and experience integrating and developing APIs.Hands-on experience with Generative AI models (OpenAI, Anthropic, AWS Bedrock).Proficiency with Intelligent Automation tools (Alteryx, UiPath), workflow tools, and strong knowledge of SharePoint and Microsoft Office tools.Excellent presentation and public speaking skills, with the ability to create technical solution design documents and investment business cases.Strong storytelling ability to explain complex solutions to senior stakeholders, high work ethic, discipline, and ability to deliver solutions under tight timelines.Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, And SkillsMaster’s or higher in a technical field (Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering) preferred.AIML certifications preferred.Experience developing Agentic AI agents preferred.Website CSS and back-end web development experience is an added bonus.
