As we expand our research, we are seeking a brilliant AI Engineer to help us unlock new insights from the brain and personalize our cutting-edge therapies.Job SummaryAs our AI Engineer, you will be at the heart of our innovation engine. You will be responsible for building the machine learning models and data infrastructure that power the next generation of our PBM devices. This role involves working with unique and complex neuroscience datasets (including fNIRS, EEG, and other biosignals) to understand neural responses to photobiomodulation. Your ultimate goal is to develop intelligent algorithms that can personalize treatment protocols, predict therapeutic outcomes, and create a truly adaptive neuro-wellness experience for our users.Core ResponsibilitiesDevelop & Train ML Models: Design, build, and validate machine learning and deep learning models to analyze complex neural data (fNIRS, EEG) collected during PBM treatment.Algorithm Development: Create novel algorithms for personalizing therapy by optimizing parameters (e.g., wavelength, pulse rate, session duration) based on real-time user biosignals and historical data.Neural Signal Processing: Implement advanced signal processing techniques to denoise, feature-extract, and interpret high-dimensional brain data.Data Pipeline & Database Management: Architect, build, and maintain robust and scalable data pipelines for ingesting, storing, and processing large-scale neuroscience datasets.Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with our team of neuroscientists, hardware engineers, and software developers to integrate your AI models into our wearable devices and mobile applications.Research & Innovation: Stay at the forefront of AI in neuroscience, computational neuroscience, and brain-computer interfaces (BCI) to identify and implement new technologies that can enhance our product capabilities.Required Qualifications & SkillsMaster’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Computational Neuroscience, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.3+ years of hands-on experience in machine learning and data science.Expert proficiency in Python and deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).Strong foundation in digital signal processing (DSP), particularly for time-series biological data (e.g., filtering, Fourier analysis).Proven experience building and managing large-scale data pipelines and working with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL).A passion for neuroscience and a strong desire to work on technology that directly impacts human health and wellness.Preferred (Bonus) QualificationsDirect experience analyzing fNIRS or EEG data.Knowledge of photobiomodulation (PBM) mechanisms and applications.Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) for ML model deployment.Familiarity with wearable technology, IoT devices, and real-time data processing.A portfolio of relevant projects or publications in computational neuroscience or a related AI field.
