At Kuehne+Nagel, our contribution counts in more ways than we imagine.‎As the Operations Manager for our Asia Pacific Control Tower, you’ll play a key role in driving operational excellence and ensuring a best-in-class customer experience across the region.How you create impactLead and develop a high-performing team to manage live aviation jobs, ensuring seamless coordination and on-time delivery.Oversee daily control tower operations — maintaining real-time visibility, proactively resolving exceptions, and ensuring all service level commitments are met.Collaborate closely with airlines, logistics partners, and internal teams to deliver smooth cargo handling and strengthen network reliability.Monitor performance through data and KPIs, identifying opportunities for process and cost improvements.Partner with Sales, Business Development, and Quality teams to support customer onboarding and continuous service enhancement.Contribute to Sterling’s growth in APAC by implementing network strategies that scale operations and reinforce our position as a trusted aviation logistics partner.What we would like you to bringProven experience in operations management, customer relationship management, or control tower leadership, ideally within aviation or logistics.Strong strategic and analytical thinking — able to interpret performance data and translate insights into improvement actions.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional and global teams.A passion for developing people and building a culture of accountability, agility, and continuous improvement.The ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure while keeping customer satisfaction at the forefront.Knowledge of quality assurance or incident management processes will be an advantage.What's in it for youAs an employer, Kuehne+Nagel stands for equal opportunity and we are committed to diversity in our teams with regards to people with disabilities.
