At Kuehne+Nagel, our contribution counts in more ways than we imagine.‎The Operational Care Specialist coordinates and monitors shipments to ensure timely, accurate delivery and customer satisfaction. The role involves managing bookings, documentation, and carrier arrangements while ensuring compliance with industry and KN standards.How you create impactTo manage and perform all operational activities reliably, accurately and on-time, minimizing overdue tasks, and according to defined customer deliverables To follow the communication concept for effective communication with stakeholders To monitor shipments, follow up on all deviations, accurate and timely updates for visibility in KN systems, including financial data, such as costs To review and clarify CCL instructions if there are conflicts or deviations with regulatory requirements, routing, TT, rate information, or other discrepanciesTo immediately report problems, operational disputes or discrepancies to supervisors or managersTo collaborate with all partners/suppliers, gateway, warehouse, customs teams, the RCC, and external parties as neededTo monitor operational performance of carriers and other partners and escalate / create awareness if performance and commitments are not being delivered To collaborate with the Optimization Team for most effective process execution and systems setup/automation, maximizing systems utilization and avoiding manual processes is criticalTo maximize profitability through cost optimization To be part of process improvement identification, and implementing changes To work with Sales and Customer Care teams on account implementation, ensuring a smooth transition from sales to operationsWhat we would like you to bringBachelor’s degree in International Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.Minimum 1 year of relevant experience in Air Logistics Operations (Import/Export).Solid knowledge of international freight forwarding, logistics, and import/export processes.Strong customer service orientation with excellent communication, task, and time management skills.Careful, responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work under high pressure and heavy workload, flexibility to support overtime.Good command of English, both verbal and written.What's in it for youAt Kuehne+Nagel, you’ll be part of a global logistics leader that believes in creating real impact—on business, on customers, and on careers.
