Aircraft Engineer

Position: A&P Engineer - NasjetJob Purpose: Maintaining NasJet Fleet in compliance to regulatory, manufacture and company policies and manuals.Key Responsibilities:Functional:-Secure and protect company's property and material- Performing all maintenance tasks assigned in accordance with the NASJET technical manuals and applicable Avia􀆟on Authority regulations, using acceptable methods, techniques, and practices._ Practice safe working methods to ensure the safety of all the Repair Station personnel._ Operate the aircrat and its systems in strict compliance with the aircraft manuals and company procedures and policies e.g. operation of hydraulic systems, operation of APU, refueling etc._ Responsible for all tasks as directed by his/ her direct manager. All maintenance tasks must be complied with in accordance with Aviation Authority regulations and certified as per authorizations approved and granted._ Ensure positioning and parking of aircraft is following aircraft manuals and company policies and procedures._ Ensure that recurrent defects are investigated thoroughly and reported to his/ her direct manager._ Ensure that all loose items that were dispatched with the aircraft e.g. laptops and remote controls etc, have been returned by the crew._ provide technical support to the Material Management Department to allow ordering of correct parts in a professional and timely manner.Operational: -_Ensure precision tools used are properly calibrated before use._Notifying his/ her direct manager upon discovery of any discrepancy found during the performance of maintenance task._Maintaining a clean and safe work environment._Ensure that regular FOD walks are carried out around the aircraft to ensure safe opera􀆟on in the ramp._Responsible for complete technical dispatch of the aircraft from the various departure points._Responsible for the post arrival handling of the aircraft and ensure that the aircraft is prepared for the next flight, after which correct procedures are to be used to shut down and secure the aircraft._Responsible for the appearance of the aircraft internally and externally prior to any flight and upon its return._The outgoing maintenance Engineer is bound to provide the incoming maintenance Engineer with a detailed turnover in written._Maintenance Engineer is obliged to carry out or supervise tasks as directed by his immediate management, to ensure the safe operation of the aircraft and its systems in compliance with the aircraft manuals, Regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures._Maintenance Engineer will ensure that prior to using any ground support equipment (GSE) that it is safe to use around the aircraft and that it is operating correctly. Similarly, at the completion of use of the GSE, the maintenance Engineer is bounded to ensure that all GSE equipment is returned to its correct parking place, and any abnormalities are reported. The maintenance Engineer must also ensure that the GSE positioned near the aircraft is clean and free of any possible FOD that may be blown into the path of the aircraft or its engines.Academic Qualifications and Professional Experience:_Academic Qualifications - Diploma with Major as Aviation TechnologyProfessional Experience - 4 - 7 Years in relevant fieldLicenses and Certifications:-FAA, GACA (ICAO) A&P or Avionics Licenses.Rating and high qualified on GULFSTREAM G300/G400.
