Aircraft Leasing AVP/VP Contract Management

We have been retained by a rapid-growth aviation finance firm, which requires a senior Contract Management professional to join their team to support complex leasing transactions from LOI through to delivery.Responsibilities:Provide transaction support from initial mandate through to contract signing, ensuring commercial, legal, and insurance requirements are effectively managed.Review and capture key commercial and financial terms from executed documents, maintaining accurate records within internal systems.Oversee time-sensitive contractual obligations, tracking option periods, delivery milestones, and other critical deadlines.Administer and monitor bank instruments such as Letters of Credit, ensuring compliance with transaction conditions.Coordinate with internal stakeholders and external partners — including airlines, legal advisors, OEMs, and financiers — to facilitate seamless delivery and return of aircraft.Identify and address potential transaction bottlenecks or closing challenges in a proactive manner.Confirm that all contractual conditions and post-closing requirements are completed within the required timeframe.Prepare concise internal updates on the progress and status of aircraft deliveries.Negotiate and finalise insurance terms within lease and financing documentation.Maintain oversight of airline insurance programs, including renewal schedules and tail cover, and ensure systems are accurately updated.Manage insurance claims and ensure timely submission of all supporting documentation.Contribute to workflow optimisation and participate in projects aimed at improving systems and operational efficiency.Maintain organised electronic records by uploading executed agreements and related materials to the document management platform.Participate in aircraft delivery or return events when on-site presence is required.Requirements:Prior experience in aircraft leasing, deliveries, and contract managementExperience managing relationships across internal teams and external partners.Proven capability to oversee multiple assignments simultaneously, setting priorities effectively and delivering within agreed timelines.Experience or familiarity with aviation insurance or related risk areas would be considered an asset.Flexible approach with a willingness to travel as required to support business needs.If you are commercially minded and ambitious, this is an excellent opportunity.Following your application for this specific role, GKR may contact you regarding other positions that are suitable for you.
