Job Description

This is a full-time contract position in Nanticoke, Ontario, Canada. Role OverviewPerform routine and non-routine laboratory analysis and wet chemistry on product and in-process samples to ensure quality assurance and control for plant operations. Calibrate and maintain test equipment to ensure accurate data generation and records. Utilize analytical instruments to address quality assurance and control issues. Prepare chemical stock solutions and reagents, as well as set preparation standards.

Receive direction and support from lab supervisors and chemists. Work with moderate direction and utilize your skills and knowledge to excel in the position. Skills & QualificationsPolytechnic graduate with a background in Chemical, Process, or Technical Engineering. Experience in quality control systems advantageous. Minimum 2 years of experience in laboratory analysis and wet chemistry. Computer-literate with the ability to use analytical instruments and quality control systems.
