We’re now looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to join our Subsea Power Distribution team at Tranby or Fornebu. What will you be doing?As Engineering Manager for Subsea Power Distribution, you will play a key role in leading and ensuring the successful execution of engineering deliverables across all project phases. You'll head a multidisciplinary engineering team, ensuring technical quality, cross-functional coordination, and delivery of safe, cost-effective, and innovative power solutions for offshore and renewable energy applications.

Your Key Responsibilities IncludeLead and guide engineering teams working on subsea power systems, including high-voltage cables, connectors, and subsea substationsWork closely with the Project Manager to meet project deadlines, control costs, and reduce technical risksTake part in design reviews and technical evaluations to ensure robust and scalable solutionsCoordinate with R&D teams to stay updated on new technologies and support smooth product integrationAct as a technical contact point for clients, partners, and internal teamsRepresent engineering in reviews, audits, and meetings — building trust through clear communication and solid executionEnsure effective use of SAP PLM and PEM tools for lifecycle and process managementWe Think You Should HaveA bachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Subsea or related engineering discipline10+ years of experience in offshore or subsea engineering, including 3+ years in a technical leadership roleProven ability to lead cross-functional teams and deliver complex engineering projectsSolid understanding of systems engineering, product development, and project lifecyclesFamiliarity with digital engineering and PLM tools (e.
