Akkodis is seeking an Entry Level Automotive Supply Chain Specialist for a 12+ month remote contract job with a client in Cincinnati, OH. This is an inventory-management-focused support role with additional duties related to work order management, service parts reporting, asset reporting, performance monitoring, and data analysis functions. You will support the Service Parts Team in inventory management, analyzing performance data, building reports, and contributing to our mission of a sustainable future. You will support internal Supply Chain and Operations work teams, manufacturers, vendors, logistics partners, service & maintenance partners, design-build firms, import/export entities, auditors. Rate Range: $30. 00/hour to $40.
00/hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Entry Level Automotive Supply Chain Specialist job responsibilities include: Managing supplier release schedules, escalating shortage concerns, evaluating inventory quality, and reviewing work orders on hold daily to determine part availability for >1500 SKU’s across multiple Distribution Center locations.
The use of numerous Excel spreadsheets, web-based applications, and other business workflow environments (Salesforce, warehouse management systems, forecasting tools, emails, etc);Responsible to develop reports using several different platforms to communicate information to management and other team members related to a selection of Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) as determined by the business. Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to network performance, maintenance needs, and parts usage trends of assets. Prepare detailed reports and presentations summarizing network performance, maintenance activities, and key insights for internal stakeholders.
Assist in managing the inventory of parts and equipment for maintenance, corrective work, and planned improvement of stations, ensuring timely procurement and availability. Track and analyze performance metrics for the network based on work orders and parts usage, identifying opportunities for improvement and ensuring optimal functionality. Support two major projects, including testing various platforms for improving work order management, optimizing work streams, and developing inventory forecasting & analytics as assigned. Desired Qualifications:
Bachelor Degree; IFPSM Certified SC Professional Certification preferredFive plus years in Supply Chain operations experience, including supplier interaction/ logistics/ project management, and data analytics/ data management experience in company with high supply chain volume (30,000-80,000 pieces)• Strong data management and organizational skills• Effective communication skills – interpersonal, oral, and written• Analytical and conceptual thinking – using logic and reason, creative and strategic• Demonstrates autonomy and initiative• Expert computer and software skills (Excel, MS Office, Salesforce or Equivalent, ERP Systems, etc.
)• High attention to detail• Flexible, dynamic, and mature understanding in assessing information and details as they pertain to complex inventory planning is a must. • Demonstrated record of precision & integrity in past work assignments• 100% remote with occasional travel to Cincinnati, OH (
