I&C Commissioning Engineer

We are looking for an “I&C Commissioning Engineer” at Çalık Enerji, located for "West Qurna 2" in Iraq.

QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Electrical-Electronics, Instrumentation, Electronics & Communication, Control & Automation Engineering, or related fields,Minimum 3 years of experience in EPC projects such as power plants, petrochemical, refinery or industrial facilities in instrumentation and telecom commissioning,Practical knowledge of telecommunication and security systems (fiber optic, PA/GA, CCTV, access control, network, telephone/data lines, alarm systems) — installation, testing and commissioning,Field experience in instrumentation systems (transmitters, PLC/DCS/SCADA integrations), loop check and commissioning activities,Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, loop diagrams, I/O lists, wiring diagrams and other technical drawings,Experience in work handover activities, client coordination, permitting procedures and HSE site requirements,Strong communication skills, team player, flexible and able to work in construction site conditions,Military service completed for male candidates.

ResponsibilitiesPerform installation, testing and commissioning activities of IT, telecommunication and security systems (fiber optic, PA/GA, CCTV, access control, network devices) on site,Carry out commissioning of BOP (Balance of Plant) Instrumentation and Control Systems, including field installation, loop check, functional tests and start-up,Actively participate in PLC/DCS/SCADA integration, loop tests, pre-commissioning and commissioning stages,Conduct site inspections according to P&IDs, I/O lists, cable schedules and layout drawings; ensure field works are reflected in as-built documentation,Monitor and coordinate subcontractor/site activities in line with project schedule,Manage technical handover documents, conduct client communication and prepare commissioning reports,Commissioning of BOP Instrumentation and Control Systems,Carrying out work handover procedures within the scope of activities,Managing customer relations during the execution of the works,Obtaining the necessary work permits,Ensure all required work permits are obtained and that HSE regulations and site safety rules are strictly followed throughout activities.
