Environmental and Social Governance Specialist

We are looking for a dedicated ESG Specialist to join our Sustainability and HSEQ Department at Çalık Renewables. The ideal candidate will ensure the implementation and monitoring of all Environmental and Social Governance aspects in alignment with IFC Performance Standards, the Equator Principles, and Çalık Renewables’ internal policies. Responsibilities: Minimum 3 years of experience in Renewable Energy Projects, or 5 years of experience in Environmental and Social Compliance of Energy Projects,Proficiency in Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) process for Energy Projects.

Strong knowledge of local (Turkish) and international environmental regulations, standards, and permitting processes, Familiarity with international environmental and social (E&S) standards (IFC Performance Standards, Equator Principles, etc) and experience working with project finance and lenders’ E&S requirements, either in a project or consultancy setting. Develop and monitor Livelihood Restoration Plans and a Grievance Redress Mechanism (GRM). Knowledge in Carbon Disclosure Project Reporting, carbon credits, ISO 9001 Quality Management System, ISO 14001 Environmental Management System, ISO 14064-1 Corporate Carbon Footprint Calculation, ISO 14046 water footprint standards,Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for project site visits when required. Qualifications:

Bachelor’s or master’s in environmental engineering, science, management or related fields. Minimum 3 years of experience in ESGStrong knowledge of ESG risk assessment methodologies and standards. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Fluent in English, with strong writing and presentation abilities. Proactive, analytical, and highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Experience with data management and ESG reporting tools. Completed their military service (for male candidates),Have a Class B driver's license
