Job Description

ResponsibilitiesEnsure and assess timely preparation and review of monthly MIS, P/L, BS, KPI and other operational activities including Cash Management, CAPEX & Working Capital Management. Strive to improve revenue and profits of all departments by focusing on topline growth as well as scouting for various cost saving initiatives. Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting that is compliant with statutory regulations and is free of financial irregularities. Prepare monthly budgets and financial statements within timelines. Continuously review and recommend changes to policies and procedures to exercise effective financial controls. Ensure compliance with the same by the Operating Management.

Interpret and analyze financial statements for meaningful comparison (trend analysis, variance analysis, benchmarking, KPIs, etc. )Review financial statements and ledgers; work with the team to resolve any discrepancies. Review financial implications and payouts of incentive schemes and provide feedback on their feasibility and effectiveness. Prepare monthly MIS reports and generate the same from ERP system (Auto line)Assess performance of various Business Units and generate financial statements for the same. Understand the cost component nuances in Automotive industry, ensure appropriate inventory costing is performed.

Ensure adequate provisions for doubtful debts & obsolescence inventory is created in line with the applicable policiesManage supplier incentives/ rebates and ensure timely recovery in line with Annual target agreements. Maintain audit trails and implement audit report recommendations issued by internal and external auditors. Liaise with external auditors to ensure that financial results are reported on time. Project cash flow requirements and submit to Corporate Finance. Perform routine activities in accordance with agreed deadlines, standards and discharge any other task assigned by superiors in a timely and effective manner.

Reviewing company’s balance sheets and supporting finance team with invoicing and capital expenditure. Fair knowledge of financial modeling, hedging & forex updates. Manage and handle grievances raised by subordinates in a prompt and effective manner and escalate as required. Monitor performance of finance personnel on financial and non-financial parameters such as cost savings achieved, internal customer responsiveness, teamwork, and technical acumen. Educational QualificationBachelor's Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent; MBA would be a plusExperienceYears of Experience: 15 - 20 YearsField of Experience :

Finance experience in an Automotive IndustrySkillsStrong knowledge in cost accounting, hedging and forex management including at least 5 years of experience at Managerial level in Finance. Demonstrate skills in forecasting models, data analysis with the ability to interpret financial data with clarity in the application of IFRS & IAS standards.
