Role OverviewAs the Supplier Quality Management Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring supplier compliance with automotive quality standards and supporting new product development for Controller ECUs/ACUs (hardware and software).
This role is critical in establishing a strong quality culture across the supply base and driving continuous improvement.
Key ResponsibilitiesConduct comprehensive supplier assessments and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and specificationsLead the qualification process for new suppliers, including reviewing PPAP (Production Part Approval Process) and FAI (First Article Inspections) documentsMonitor and evaluate supplier performance through periodic reviews and auditsDevelop and implement quality control procedures to maintain consistent product qualityCollaborate with suppliers to identify and implement process improvements, reduce defects, and increase efficiencyUtilize quality tools such as SPC (Statistical Process Control), FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), and RCCA (Root Cause Corrective Action) to resolve quality issuesProvide training and support to suppliers on quality standards, best practices, and continuous improvement methodsBuild and maintain strong supplier relationships focused on long-term quality excellenceSupport suppliers in achieving and sustaining industry certifications and compliance standardsMaintain accurate records of inspections, audits, and corrective/preventive actionsPrepare detailed reports on supplier quality performance for internal stakeholders with improvement recommendationsEnsure all quality documentation complies with industry regulations and standards Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics EngineeringMinimum 7 years of experience in Supplier Quality ManagementHands-on experience in Controller ECU/ACU development (Hardware & Software)In-depth knowledge of automotive quality tools and standardsStrong understanding of electronic components, sensors, and debuggingFamiliarity with automotive protocols:
