Mentor and support project commercial teams to enhance performanceOverseeing the implementation and management of company systems to ensure consistent compliance and operational alignment across all project teamsContributing to the identification and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives that drive operational efficiency and foster mutually beneficial outcomesActing as a critical liaison between the pre and post contract award phases to ensure a smooth, structured, and thorough transition to project teamsSupport and oversight of the subcontractor management processes, including risk-based evaluation, subcontract agreement review, variation assistance, and compliance monitoring, to ensure contractual integrity and mitigation of project risksEnsure accuracy of subcontractor payments schedules within Payapps and compliance to relevant state payment act, particularly for disputed or partially approved claims, while supporting the preparation of documentation for dispute resolutionSupport and monitor project close-out activities, including Practical Completion certification, bank guarantee recovery, release of cash retention, ensuring project teams manage the process effectively.

Assist with finalising subcontractor accounts, including deeds of release and related documentationDemonstrate and support the assessment of head contract claim entitlements by ensuring systematic, comprehensive, and consistent record-keeping practices. Manage stakeholder expectations regarding the validity, scale, and likelihood of claims to facilitate informed decision-making and optimal outcomesPresent insights at commercial meetings, including lessons learned and legislative updatesAbout You - Skills And Qualifications10+ years working for a main contractor at a project levelUndergraduate qualification in quantity surveying, contract administration etc.

is a desired qualification however extensive experience / exposure will be consideredKnowledge of Australian construction contract law and regulations, specifically for Queensland and NSWHigh competency working in Jobpac Skills in operating other software such as Payapps, Procore, EstimateOne, ProcurePro, 1Breadcrumb and Docusign will be advantageousValid Australian drivers licence - the role will be predominately based from our Head office in Helensvale, however, site visits will be required on occasion (Brisbane/Gold Coast and NNSW)About The BusinessIf you are looking for a role which is exciting, offers stability and flexibility and allows you to have exposure to different projects then this could be the role for you!
