Job Title: Financial ControllerLocation: RiyadhDirect Reporting To: Exec. Finance ManagerPurpose: We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to manage all financial and controlling activities for projects across all EPC, Development, and Operations & Maintenance activities. This role will encompass reporting, banking & cash management, project costing & controlling, budgeting, statutory reporting & compliance, taxation, and digitization. Key Accountability Areas & Activities: 1. Accounting, Controlling & ComplianceLead and manage all accounting activities, ensuring timely updates and accurate documentation of transactions. Approve all types of accounting documents and ensure compliance with internal procedures and regulations (A/P, A/R, GL, taxes, etc. ).
Manage contractual payment terms from an A/R perspective and ensure timely collections from customers. Control all payments for interest, commitment fees, global fees, security fees, and IRS payments. Lead cost and project controlling in accordance with approved budgets and plans. 2. External Professional RelationshipsEstablish and maintain strong relationships with key accounting, tax, auditor, insurance, and banking professionals. Ensure reconciliations of asset and liability accounts, preparing monthly trial balances for SPVs. 3. Internal Financial Reporting, Financial Planning and Analysis, & External ComplianceOversee the company’s financial activities, including budgeting, reporting, and auditing.
Manage OPEX & CAPEX budgeting and identify potential risks and opportunities for optimization. Prepare monthly and periodic financial reports, including costing, cash flow statements, and financial statements in compliance with IFRS. Coordinate required reporting for customs duty control, banks, and regulatory bodies. 4. Tax & FilingManage all types of tax returns (VAT, WHT, CIT, Zakat) ensuring compliance with regulations in coordination with the Central Tax department. Qualifications/Requirements: Knowledge and Experience: 10+ years of experience in finance and accounting. Strong knowledge of Saudi regulations. Excellent accounting, analytical, and reporting skills. Proficient in ERP systems (preferably SAP).
Background in banking and construction industries is preferred. Education and Certifications: Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting. FMVA (Financial Modelling & Valuation Analyst) certification is preferred. Credit Analyst. CMA. CPA. CMA. ACCA.
