You are hereHomeAlice Paul House: Direct Service AssistantAbout Alice Paul HouseAlice Paul House is a comprehensive victim service program located in Indiana, PA. We provide services to victims/survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault, other crime and juvenile offenders. Direct Service Assistant: Full Time Key ResponsibilitiesProvide crisis intervention, accompaniment, and advocacy to victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, all crimes and victims of juvenile offenders as well as significant othersTrauma-focused empowerment individual and group counseling/advocacyComplete daily crisis card tracking and monthly statisticsGreet clients and visitors, respond to inquiries, and direct them to appropriate staff or services.Manage and maintain filing systems (electronic and paper-based), including confidential client records.Schedule appointments, meetings, and coordinate calendars for staff.Prepare reports, letters, memos, and other documents as requested.Enter and maintain data in case management systems and databases.Assist with intake processes by collecting and organizing client documentation.Assist Fiscal Department with tracking and ordering office supplies and materials needed for daily operations.Support the preparation and submission of grant applications and reports.Provide administrative assistance in organizing community outreach events or program activities.Assist Fiscal Department with incoming and outgoing mail, email, and phone communication.This position directly supports managementQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree or higher in human services, business administration, or a related field preferred.Previous administrative or office support experience, preferably in a nonprofit or social services setting.Strong organizational and time management skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and database systems.Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.Compassionate, client-focused, and culturally sensitive.To ApplyAbove is an abridged list of responsibilities and qualifications Interested candidates should forward their resume, along with a cover letter to whitney.carmichael@alicepaulhouse.org or by fax to 724-349-7883 Attention: Whitney CarmichaelDeadline: Friday October 17, 2025
