About Alike Health: Alike Health is new, specialist medical and healthcare hub launched in 2025 purposefully co-designed to support people with a disability, intellectual disability and complex health needs. Alike Health and its space have been designed to be inclusive and collaborative, and with a focus on equity and accessibility in healthcare. Ā Incorporating specialist doctors (including rehabilitation specialists, psychiatrists and pediatricians) and allied health, Alike Health also includes Aesthetics At Alike, a cosmetics and aesthetics clinic. We are now expanding the administration and operations team to support all facets of the business.

This is a new opportunity to work in the administrationĀ and operations team as Alike Health embarks on its journey. Duties include, but are not limited to: Booking appointments, taking payments and managing multiple diaries on a practice management software systemAnswering incoming calls and emails professionally and promptlyProviding support and assistance to our healthcare professionalsMeeting and greeting patients in a friendly, welcoming mannerDealing with patient enquiries both over the phone and in person, sometimes in challenging situationsScanning and updating of patient files accuratelyThe successful applicant will also demonstrate:

Exceptional customer service skills, displaying a polite manner and empathetic natureThe ability to remain calm under pressure, with a positive and enthusiastic dispositionOutstanding organisation and time management skills, with the ability to multi-taskA commitment to on-the-job training and ongoing learning and developmentWillingness and flexibility to cover staff on annual and sick leaveExcellent written and verbal communication skills, paying attention to detailA willingness to take direction and work collaboratively as part of a teamExperience with a practice management software program.

Experience in a mental health, specialist medical or allied health practice, highly regarded but not essentialThe ability to show empathy towards others and a general desire to assist patients, co-workers and professionalsAustralian citizenship or permanent residency essentialWorking with children check essential.
