Job Description

We're looking for a seasoned (sr. ) Director, Business Development to join our A-team. In this role, you'll take the lead in driving strategic sales growth for Allucent's portfolio, with a special focus on clinical pharmacology, regulatory services and biostatistical consulting services. RequirementsYou'll be the driving force behind identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities across your territory. This is a strategic, high-impact role where your track record in CRO sales—particularly in early-phase, clinical pharmacology, or regulatory services—will set you apart. Key responsibilities: Achieve and exceed annual sales targets by building and managing a strong pipeline.

Identify, qualify, and close new business with a focus on small and emerging biopharma clients. Coordinate and drive business opportunities along the sales cycle from lead generation, CDA, RFI/RFP, bid defense, award, through contract execution.   Coordinate, drive and host client meetings and bid pursuits, providing guidance and insights of client needs, wishes and expectations to appropriate leadership, Proposals and Contracts (PAC), Legal teams to ensure winning proposal/bid strategies including support preparation of proposals. Build strong, trust-based relationships with senior decision-makers and influencers. Represent Allucent at key industry events, conferences, and client meetings. Who are we looking for:

You're a consultative seller, strategic thinker, and collaborative partner to your clients, colleagues and stakeholders. You combine industry knowledge with business acumen to spot opportunities and close them.  We're looking for someone with: 10+ years' proven success in business development within a CRO, ideally with strong experience in selling clinical pharmacology, regulatory and biostatistical consulting services. A strong network within the pharmaceutical and biotech sectors. Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets. Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, global environment with frequent travel.
