Senior Product & Program Management Leader

Ref: 520ASISWTitle: Senior Product & Program Management LeaderLocation: Zurich, SwitzerlandSalary: AttractiveDate: 25th July 2025Our client, a transportation company is looking for a Senior Product & Program Management Leader to provide strategic leadership and end-to-end ownership of the product roadmap, working across globally distributed teams in Switzerland and Asia. Drive innovation and operational excellence in new product development, engineering, sourcing, and cross-functional delivery. Build and expand Asia's engineering and supply chain capabilities in alignment with global standards. Duties Include: Define and execute the medium- and long-term product roadmap, including launches, upgrades, and issue resolution.

Develop comprehensive business cases for new product initiatives, encompassing commercial viability, budget forecasting, and cross-functional stakeholder buy-in. Lead product planning and lifecycle management in collaboration with Swiss Product Management and Asia-based development teams. Lead the end-to-end cycle: concept design, prototyping, validation, and launch. Standardize and implement robust product development processes, including Stage Gate reviews, project frameworks, risk assessments, and mitigation plans. Ensure engineering designs meet cost, performance, and quality benchmarks, customized to target market requirements. Expand engineering, manufacturing, and functions in Asia to align with Swiss operations and global supplier network.

Establish strong testing and validation capabilities in Asia, leveraging expertise. Cultivate a collaborative, agile, and cross-cultural work environment across geographies. Oversee cross-functional execution to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery through effective trade-off management and prioritization. Collaborate with sourcing teams to develop a lean, cost-effective supply chain. Manage global resources, budgets, and execution plans to align with organizational strategic goals. Mentor and build high-performing, cross-border teams with strong capabilities in sourcing, and program delivery. Foster seamless communication and process standardization between Asia and Switzerland teams. Instil accountability and continuous improvement mindset across all teams and functions.

The preferred candidate will ideally have leadership experience in Strategy, Product Development, Program Management, and Supply Chain within the automotive sector. As well as experience with managing global teams across Europe and Asia. And track record of setting up and scaling global product development and supply chain footprints.
