Overview of role: We are excited to announce an opportunity to join Alvotech’ s finance team as an experienced accountant. Our accounting team, consisting of 10 people, is seeking a positive and detail-oriented individual who shares our culture of continuous improvement, agility, and a commitment to efficiency. As a member of our team, you will work closely with other accountants within the department as well as with other cross functions in the company.
Our finance team handles accounting for Alvotech entities around the world, including Iceland, Germany, Switzerland, US, UK, Sweden,India, and Malta, providing an excellent opportunity for you to gain knowledge in an international corporate environment. Alvotech’ s finance team is located in the bright and modern office at the headquarters in Sæmundargata in Reykjavík. Our team is composed of highly skilled individuals, and the positive morale fosters a stimulating environment for growth and success. Scope and Responsibility: Key Responsibilities: Post and process invoicesPost General LedgersPerform AP and GL reconciliations. Prepare VAT reports and financial reports.
Post credit cards and cash expensesPerform other ad hoc accounting tasks as required. Qualifications: Very good accounting experience. Suitable education. Knowledge of SAP ERP system is a benefit. Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices. Independent and accurate. Good communication skills. Excellent English. Experienced in Excel.
