Reporting to the Country Manager, the Store Development Project Manager will lead and oversee the strategic planning, execution (construction) and governance of retail store development projects ensuring alignment with global brand objectives, timely delivery, budget adherence, and operational and quality excellence.
Day to day responsibilities include; Oversee project budgets, timelines, construction and approvals, ensuring rigorous governance and reporting Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors to ensure smooth project execution end to end Provide leadership and guidance to the Store Development Administrator, ensuring effective documentation, communication, and milestone tracking Approve and oversee lease documentation, tender processes, and contractor engagement and support supplier onboarding and procurement processes, ensuring alignment with company standards Ensure compliance with safety, legal, and landlord requirements across all projects Conduct site visits and store handovers to ensure quality and readiness Develop and refine business processes to improve efficiency and governance in store development Prepare and present strategic updates, reports, and recommendations to senior leadership and global counterparts Act as a key escalation point for project risks, delays, or issues, driving resolution and accountabilityAbout You.

You will have demonstrated high level in-house experience in retail development, property, or construction project management managing projects end to end including new builds and refurbs delivering high quality builds, on time and within budget. Being Tertiary qualification in Project Management, Construction, Property, or related field will bring experience in managing teams and complex stakeholder environments, including international collaboration. At Amer Sports, we really value our partners and stakeholders and you will have existing networks and engaged stakeholders within the ANZ landlord/property, construction community, with the ability to leverage relationships to support project delivery and negotiations.
You will have a strong understanding of design, construction and build requirements, lease agreements, fit-out processes, compliance, retail and works requirements.
