The position will support Fastmarkets' analysis across various paper and board markets. Our team has a well-established presence in this field, along with an industry-leading product offering used by most major producers, end-users, suppliers, and financial service providers. The successful candidate will report to Fastmarkets' director of European Economic Analysis.The opening is an entry-level position that requires a bachelor’s degree in economics or statistics. The candidate should be detail-oriented and have a good understanding of economics, especially microeconomics. No prior knowledge of the paper and paperboard markets is required, but previous experience would be considered helpful in the role. The candidate must have good written and oral communication skills in English, while proficiency in other European languages is desirable. Assist in providing client support for RISI’s European Economic Analysis products. Assist in the development of presentations, single-client and multi-client studies, forecasts and monitors to learn from the industries we cover and the methodology behind our productsConduct specific desktop research to enhance the quality and depth of our analysis.
