Commodity Management within Materials and Procurement develops and implements plans to support forecasted needs for suppliers or commodities. We use our in-depth knowledge of foreign and domestic markets to negotiate supplier agreements and contracts with optimum pricing and terms. We also harness our understanding of commodity qualities, transportation options, risk management and supply chain evaluation models to develop optimal commodity management strategies.Join us to do the best work of your career and make a profound social impact as a Analyst, Commodity Management on our Commodity Management Team in Bratislava.What You’ll AchieveAs an Analyst, Commodity Management, you will be responsible for driving negotiations and request for proposals with suppliers and creating sourcing operations plans with business stakeholders.You will:Identify, evaluate, and manage relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability.Negotiate contract terms and conditions with suppliers to secure the best possible deals while ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements.Develop and implement strategies to reduce procurement costs and improve efficiency without compromising on quality.Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and new products to make informed sourcing decisions.Identify potential risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity.Take the first step towards your dream careerEvery Dell Technologies team member brings something unique to the table. Here’s what we are looking for with this role:Essential RequirementsMaster’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field and graduated in 2025/26Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across functions and levelsAnalytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, assess supplier proposals, and support cost analysisProactive attitude and willingness to learn procurement processes, contract management, and supplier evaluation, team-oriented with a high level of ownership and accountabilityFluency in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus, proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word);Desirable RequirementsInternship or project experience in procurement, supply chainSalary starting from: 1400 Eur gross monthlyBenefits: Private medical care, Sick days, Access into our Learning studio – more than 1,000 online trainings, Extra vacation, Private employee gym.
