And we’re just getting started!OverviewThe Analyst, FP&A will be responsible for planning, reporting, forecasting, and analyzing key expense accounts. The Analyst, FP&A will maintain and develop processes in support of company objectives and identify and define opportunities to improve performance and positively impact results via complex analysis and financial modeling.This role will be based out of our Hampton, NH office, and will be expected to work our hybrid work schedule.ResponsibilitiesPartner with business stakeholders and broader FP&A team on expense forecasting and consolidation for annual plans and quarterly forecastsTrack and analyze variances to forecast and historical results and communicate actionable insights to stakeholders and the Planet Fitness executive leadership teamPrepare and review key financial analysis to support Investor Relations in quarterly external reportingActively manage integrity of data and reporting within financial and operational systems across key performance metrics including membership, billings, and marketing expense accountsMaintain oversight and control of plan/forecast versions within financial planning tool including communication of changes to versions throughout planning cyclesSupport continuous improvement efforts of the existing financial reporting tools, systems, and processesExecute ad-hoc analytic requests, database queries, and report generation as needed.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or another quantitative field2+ years in corporate finance, accounting, consulting, or investment banking roleStrong strategic, analytical, and problem-solving skillsProficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other analytical software such as IBM Planning Analytics or comparable toolsFamiliarity with planning, dashboard, and data visualization software toolsExperience in multi-unit retail, franchising, or subscription-based revenue models a plusAbility to work proactively, independently, and as a strategic partner in a team environmentHigh attention to detail with an eagerness to review and analyze dataExcellent presentation and communication skills along with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organizationCreative, progressive, thought leadership with the ability to influence at all levels of the organizationExcellent leadership skills including the ability to motivate, guide, and mentorDedicated learner with a natural curiosity for consistent growthExhibits comfort, ease, and flexibility working in an extremely fast-paced ever-changing, deadline-driven environmentCooperative team player with an upbeat, positive, “can-do” attitude!
