Whether it be better commercial outcomes or driving greater participation, this is our ultimate proof point, demonstration of shaping a better future for sport & entertainment.About The RoleWe have a unique opportunity within our Sponsorship team for an early-career Analyst who is eager to grow and make their mark in the sport and entertainment industry.Although based in the Sponsorship team, this role offers broad exposure across Gemba’s other divisions - Strategy, Insights, and Data & Analytics providing a rare chance to develop a well-rounded skill set. You’ll gain hands-on experience in sponsorship management, client engagement, research, and data-driven storytelling, while also learning how strategy and analytics shape outcomes for leading brands, rights holders, and sporting organisations. This is an ideal role for someone who is curious, collaborative, and motivated to build a career at the intersection of commercial partnerships, data, and strategic thinking.ResponsibilitiesResearch & Insights Deliver and support on both qualitative and quantitative research projectsAnalyse data and translate insights into clear, actionable recommendationsConnect insights to commercial outcomes to inform and influence client decision-makingCommercial & Strategic Acumen Build an understanding of the sport and entertainment ecosystem, including brands, rights holders, and fansApply problem-solving skills to connect data, insights, and strategy to real-world client challengesContribute to the development of sponsorship strategies and evaluation frameworksCollaboration & Communication Work seamlessly across Gemba divisions (Sponsorship, Turnstile Valuations, Strategy, Insights, Data & Analytics)Communicate findings and ideas clearly through reports, presentations, and visual storytellingOperate with a team-first mindset, while being client-aware and proactive in stakeholder engagementAbout YouExperience 1–2 years’ experience in a related industry or role (sport or entertainment organisation, consultancy, or agency preferred)Tertiary qualifications in Business/Commerce, Marketing, Engineering, or a related fieldExposure to consultancy or agency environments is highly regardedAn understanding of the Australian sponsorship and sport/entertainment landscapeSkillsStrong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levelsProficiency in Excel for data analysis and interpretation, with the ability to translate insights into compelling PowerPoint presentationsHighly adaptable and collaborative, with the ability to contribute effectively in multi-disciplinary teamsExceptional accuracy, attention to detail, and organisational skillsExperience with BI dashboarding (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) and data handling (Excel, SQL, Python/R) to create clear, impactful visualisations (desirable)Mindset Curious, proactive learner who seeks out opportunities to growResilient and adaptable in a fast-paced, client-facing environmentMotivated, driven, and eager to use this role as a platform for career development in sport and entertainmentHow To ApplyIf you’re ready to make an impact and take the next step in your career, click Apply and submit your CV and Cover Letter.
