Company DescriptionInterCapital Fund, LP is a long/short hedge fund focused on asymmetric returns in the global equity market and equity-related securities primarily. The General Partner implements a long/short company-specific strategy, which enables Limited Partners to participate in the inherent growth opportunities within multiple industries over the long term, while seeking to reduce near and intermediate-term volatility. The goal is to invest in our highest conviction names in a timely manner and hold these positions for an extended period of time, while tactically trading around these positions during Event-Driven situations using derivative strategies for non-correlated short-term returns to augment the returns of the core portfolio holdings. InterCapital Fund launched October, 2021Annualized IRR of 38.1% net-of-fees since inception~$155M AUM (End of Sept)Role DescriptionThis is a full-time hybrid role for an Analyst role at InterCapital. This role is ideal for a recent college graduate or early-career analyst who has a deep curiosity about markets and a desire to grow within a fast-moving, performance-driven fund. The firm values initiative, humility, and a willingness to learn far more than pedigree or prior experience.AnalystYou’ll work directly with the Founder/Portfolio Manager on:Idea generation and deep research across equities, identifying fundamental drivers, catalysts, and asymmetric opportunities.Building and defending investment theses from inception through exit — including valuation modeling, competitive dynamics, and risk/reward framing.Attending industry and investor conferences to surface new themes and gain access to management teams.This is mainly an idea seat. Analysts are expected to think independently, challenge consensus, and develop conviction through first-principles research.Compensation Competitive base salary commensurate with experience Performance-based bonus potential directly tied to fund results and individual idea contribution.Path to structured upside participation (e.g., phantom equity)Qualifications Recent college graduate or early-career professional (0–3 years of experience) with a demonstrated passion for markets and investing.Strong analytical, writing, and research skills — comfort building models and synthesizing both quantitative and qualitative insight.Intellectual curiosity and a willingness to learn directly from the portfolio manager Entrepreneurial mindset with the desire to grow within a small, dynamic, and high-accountability environment.Familiarity with valuation, accounting, and capital market concepts (DCF, comps, unit economics, catalysts, etc.).
